NH Aging Demographic (March 2019)

2019 03 08 Senior Programs

The Friends Program has been providing programs & services to NH seniors for decades. The term ‘senior’ covers the largest grouping of people, meaning the ages & stages: babies (0-12 mos), toddlers (1-3 yrs), preschoolers (3-5 yrs), gradeschoolers (5-10 yrs), tweens (10-12 yrs), teens (13-18 yrs), young adults (19-21 yrs), adults (20/30/40-somethings), 50 is the new 40, and then 55+ is typically considered ‘senior’. That 'plus' (55+) includes a wide age range that presents a variety of needs and opportunities. Our senior programs ~ *FGP* & *RSVP* ~ offers something for everyone 55 and beyond. In fact, we have several nonagenarians in our programs volunteering in the community and a couple of centenarians receiving services. Please call us to discuss volunteer opportunities that best fit your own lifestyle and/or services for you or someone you know. https://bit.ly/2tVYuUS
